Long staple cotton gives this thread the strength needed for high speed machines. Cotton Mako is also merserized, giving it a sheen not found in in most cotton threads.
50wt (1422yds) (NEW 220yd spool now available) 216 colors including 34 multi colors. This thread is the finest in all the weights and has become very popular for a variety of uses. It produces an excellent result in machine lace, along with Tear & Rinse heavy wt. Soluble film. It gives an elegant look to embroidery on table linens, and of course is great for buttonholes and all types of sewing. Quilters love it for piecing and quilting in both top and bottom.
Each spool of Cotton Mako Threads has 1300 meters of 50wt. Egyptian Cotton yarn.
