SCHMETZ - The Finest Sewing Machine Needles in the World

GENERAL PURPOSE NEEDLES

Universal Needle - For all general sewing of most woven and knit materials. For use in all household sewing machine brands and types for which needles with a flat shank are required. Sizes: 8/60 through 19/120, and Assorted.

Microtex/Sharp Needle - Sharp point for perfectly straight stitches. For use in topstitching or edge stitching applications on silk and microfiber fabrics. Sizes: 60, 70, 80, and 90.

Ball Point Needle - Medium ball point for use on knitted materials. Sizes: 10/70 through 16/100 and Assorted.

Overlock Needle - Has a sharp point suitable for all fabrics. Two assorted sizes: BLX1 (2-11, 2-14) and DCX1 (2-11, 3-14). Choose system recommended by machine manufacturer.

SPECIALTY NEEDLES

Denim Needle - For jeans and similar densely woven materials. Sizes: 10/70 through 18/110.

Stretch Needle - For synthetic suedes and elastic knitwear. Special construction prevents skipped stitches. Sizes: 11/75 and 14/90.

Topstitch Needle - Extra sharp with an extra large eye and a large groove to accommodate topstitch thread. Use where larger eye size is beneficial. Sizes: 12/80, 14/90, and 16/100.

Leather Needle - Has a slight cutting point for leather and heavy non-woven synthetics. Sizes: 12/80 through 18/110.

Hemstitch Needle - Single wing needle for decorative stitching on tightly woven fabrics. Sizes: HEM/100 and HEM/120.

Elna ELX705 Needle - This needle is designed for use in electronic multi-purpose sergers that do the overlock, cover, safety, and mock safety stitches. Not suitable for use in normal home sewing machines or embroidery machines. Machines should specify ELX705 system.

Quilting Needle - Special taper to point prevents damage to the sensitive, expensive materials used in quilting. Assorted sizes 75, 90, solid pack 90.

Machine Embroidery Needle - For use with rayon and specialty machine embroidery thread. Assorted sizes 75, 90, solid pack 90.

Metallic Needle - Provides trouble-free sewing with metallic threads. It has a large eye to make threading easier. It also has a large groove to prevent shredding of the delicate metallic threads during stitch formation. Sizes: 12/80 and 14/90.

Self-Threading Needle - General purpose needle with slip-in threading slot for people having difficulty threading needles. Sizes: 12/80 and 14/90.

DOUBLE/TRIPLE NEEDLES

Double Needle - Two needles on a crossbar from a single shaft. Can be used with zig zag sewing machines that thread front to back. Sews two rows of stitching at the same time. Sizes: 1.6/70 through 4.0/100.

Triple Needle - Three needles. Sizes: Triple 2.5 and Triple 3.0.

Special Point Double Needles

Double Denim Needle - Size: 4.0/100.

Double Stretch Needle - Sizes: 2.5/75 and 4.0/75.
